And the Winners of ‘The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart’ Are…

Bachelor Nation just added two new people to its long list of franchise champions.

Last night, Chris Watson and Bri Stauss were crowned the first-ever winners of The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart. Shortly after the finale aired on ABC, the couple released their very first joint album, Chris and Bri, which features five original songs along with five covers they performed on the show.

Although part of the Listen to Your Heart prize includes a national tour, it’s been postponed for obvious reasons. Still, that didn’t stop the couple from recording Chris and Bri during self-isolation.

“Somehow, we made an album. In two months, in different states recording, in different studios, writing everything through FaceTime,” Bri told Entertainment Tonight. “I was able to come to L.A. for two weekends before the lockdown happened and then the rest was finished through FaceTime, and it was just insane.”

The winners were announced on the highly anticipated finale of Listen to Your Heart. During the episode, Chris and Bri performed Adele’s “Make You Feel My Love” and Ed Sheeran’s “Give Me Love” for the panel of judges, which included Rita Wilson, Jewel, Taye Diggs, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick.

Chris and Bri competed against runners-up Trevor and Jamie, who sang “Unchained Melody” by the Righteous Brothers and “Speechless” by Dan + Shay. (Matt and Rudi were supposed to be in the running, but they left in the beginning of the episode after determining their relationship wasn’t where it needed to be.)

Chris and Bri is now available on all streaming platforms. The album might not be a Bachelor engagement, but hey, we’ll take what we can get.
