Rudi from the New 'Bachelor' Series Is Giving Us Major Alayah Vibes

Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor is officially over, but (good news!) ABC is blessing us with the next best dating show: The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Heart.

The network recently released a first-look trailer for the upcoming series, which features Chris Harrison introducing the cast of 20 hopeful musicians who will occupy our Monday nights in one short month.

In the clip, Harrison kicks things off by introducing viewers to the ten men and ten women, who are starring in the one-of-a-kind dating slash singing competition.

“Romance, drama, roses and hot tubs,” the host says. “It’s everything you love about The Bachelor…and more.” What is it with ABC and hot tubs?

While one contestant, Julia, describes the show as “a crossroads between love and music,” others (like Rudi) are extremely hopeful about what’s to come.

“[It’s about] finding connections with insanely good-looking people and getting married maybe,” Rudi says. “I don’t know!” Simmer down, sweetie.

Although the purpose of the show is to connect artists through music (duh), you’d be surprised by how many contestants are new to dating musicians. “I’ve never dated another musician,” multiple contestants say. Well, at least it’ll provide some interesting content.

*Sniff, sniff* Is that a breakup song we smell? The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Heart will premiere on Monday, April 13, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
