The 12…Make that 10 ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Couples Who Are Still Together
When it comes to dating shows, it doesn’t always work out for the couples involved—like John Paul Jones and Tayshia Adams, who met on Bachelor in Paradise and recently called it quits, and Demi Burnett and Kristian Haggerty, who announced their split shortly after.
While The Bachelor and The Bachelorette have a decent number of success stories, we were surprised to learn that BiP actually has the best track record, with only six seasons under its belt.
So, which pairs are still together? Here’s a complete list of BiP couples who managed to make it work—and two who didn’t.
1. Dean Unglert & Caelynn Miller-Keyes
After a rocky start to their relationship, Dean convinced Caelynn to leave BiP to continue their romance. They are now happily dating, and yes, Caelynn has slept in Dean’s infamous van.
2. Joe Amabile & Kendall Long
How could we forget about Joe the Grocer and his lucky gal, Kendall? The pair met on season five, but it wasn’t all fun and games. You see, Kendall was hesitant about their relationship, so Joe left paradise of his own accord. When filming was over, Kendall flew to Chicago to rekindle their romance…and it worked.
They currently live together in Los Angeles, so we wouldn’t be surprised if there’s an engagement in their near future. (Your move, Neil Lane.)
3. Adam Gottschalk & Raven Gates
The couple hit it off during season four of the ABC series. Although Adam didn’t propose in paradise, he popped the question two years later. Worth the wait, indeed.
4. Chris Bukowski & Katie Morton
Chris proposed to Katie during the season six finale of BiP. Although they weren’t on the same page at the reunion, they have since rekindled their relationship and plan on tying the knot sometime in the near future.
5. Dylan Barbour & Hannah Godwin
After catching feelings for both Dylan and Blake, Hannah found herself in a love triangle on season six of Bachelor in Paradise. In the end, she chose Dylan, who proposed during the finale. It appears things are going well, since Hannah recently moved to California, which is where Dylan lives.
6. Kevin Wendt & Astrid Loch
This one’s a confusing one, since Kevin broke up with Astrid in the season five finale. However, the pair reconnected shortly after the show aired. They announced their engagement in August 2019.
7. Chris Randone & Krystal Nielson
The former villains, somehow dubbed “Glitter Goose,” found each other on season five of BiP. They recently tied the knot in a Mexican ceremony, which was officiated by Chris Harrison on ABC.
8. Jared Haibon & Ashley Iaconetti
You probably remember Ashley as the girl who cried and cried (and cried) about Jared during two seasons of the dating series. Although we originally thought that it would never happen, Jared eventually had a change of heart.
The couple announced they were dating in May 2018, followed by their engagement one month later. In August 2019, they exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in Rhode Island.
9. Evan Bass & Carly Waddell
Carly wasn’t originally interested in Bass—that is, until he faked an illness on the show, and she accompanied him to the hospital, resulting in an unbreakable bond.
Bass got down on one knee during the season three finale, and the pair tied the knot in a televised wedding the following year. They are parents to a daughter named Isabella (1) and have a son on the way.
10. Tanner Tolbert & Jade Roper
One of the most memorable couples, Jade and Tanner got engaged on season two of Bachelor in Paradise and tied the knot in an on-air wedding in 2016. They have a daughter named Emmy (2) and a son named Brooks (2 months), who accidentally arrived in the family’s master closet.
11. Demi Burnett & Kristian Haggerty
Status: No longer together
They made history as the first same-sex couple to appear on BiP. Demi popped the question during the season six finale, and Kristian returned the favor in the reunion special.
In October 2019, they announced their split on Instagram and wrote, “We ultimately want what is best for us in the long run and for us right now, that means being apart and growing individually.”
12. John Paul Jones & Tayshia Adams
Status: No longer together
Although the couple confirmed their relationship in September 2019, they called it quits one month later.
Tayshia announced the news on Instagram and wrote, “We truly did the best we could, but at this time have decided that what is best for the both of us is to go our separate ways. We are the best of friends and will continue to remain in each other’s life because regardless of the situation, we make each other happy.”
