Marvel Released a New Clip from ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and Someone Isn’t Happy About Captain Marvel Joining the Team

Been wondering what it will be like when Captain Marvel finally joins the Avengers team? Yeah, us too. Will she be accepted? Or will tensions run high amongst members of the super gang?

Well, thanks to Marvel, we finally have somewhat of an answer. Today the company released a new clip for Avengers: Endgame on Good Morning America. The video is the first official clip dropped by Marvel (aside from trailers and teasers of course).

Although the vid is only a little more than a minute long, it gives viewers a small glimpse into the new dynamic of our favorite heroes (including our latest addition) and there’re a lot to unpack. Here’s what we know: Carol (Brie Larson), Natasha (Scarlett Johansson), Steve (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Bruce (Mark Ruffalo), and Rhodey (Don Cheadle) seem to be looking over a hologram of the earth while discussing Thanos and what exactly they are supposed to do next.

As it turns out, Thanos still has all of the Infinity Stones (yikes), which makes him the most powerful being in the universe. Hence, how he was able to wipe out half of humanity in the last film. Carol is clearly the most eager one of the group, and quickly recommends that the gang go forth to try and get the stones back, in hopes of reversing what Thanos has done.

But here’s the thing, it definitely won’t be that easy. And although Natasha and Steve seem to be on board, some of the others (Rhodey) are definitely hesitant, and rightfully so.

“Hey new girl, everybody in this room is about that superhero life,” says Rhodey. “And if you don’t mind my asking where the hell have you been all this time?” Um, ouch.

Captain Marvel was quick to respond of course. “There are a lot of other planets in the universe and unfortunately, they didn’t have you guys.” Clearly she’s been busy fighting Skrull warriors.

The clip ends with that epic (already debuted) moment between Carol and Thor and it’s clear he’s convinced. As for the others, we aren’t quite sure what will happen next. But we’re optimistic.

Seriously, what’s not to love about Captain Marvel?
