HBO Max Officially Renews ‘And Just Like That’ For Season 2

Buckle up, Sex and the City fans, because you haven't seen the last of Carie Bradshaw and her tight-knit squad.

HBO Max confirmed today that the reboot series, And Just Like That, is officially returning for a second season. The show's executive producer, Michael Patrick King, issued a statement in a press release that read, "I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters—played by these powerful, amazing actors. The fact is, we're all thrilled. And Just like That… our sex life is back."

Head of Original Content at HBO Max Sarah Aubrey also said, “We have been delighted by the cultural conversation generated by these characters and their stories, set in a world we already know and love so much. We are proud of the work Michael Patrick King and our wonderful writers, producers, cast and crew have done to bring these stories to the screen. We can’t wait for fans to see what’s in store for season 2!”

The first season of the series, which was executive produced by stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, turned out to be one of the biggest debuts of any HBO Max Original, and since the Internet's been buzzing about the iconic show ever since (remember this viral meme?), it comes as no surprise that these ladies are keeping things going.

As for the plot and the cast, details haven't been shared just yet, but according to the official logline, we'll continue to follow Carrie (Parker), Miranda (Nixon) and Charlotte (Davis) as they navigate life and relationships in their 50s.

We can't wait to reunite with our imaginary BFFs.
