Amal Clooney’s Simple Black-and-White Outfits Are All We Want to Wear This Spring

Oh, hey, Amal—it’s been a while since we’ve seen you.

Amal Clooney just reappeared in the spotlight for the first time in more than a month, looking particularly elegant (even for her). The last time we saw the human rights lawyer was in March, when she and Mr. Clooney rubbed elbows with the royal family at the People’s Postcode Lottery Charity Gala in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Back in New York City (speaking at the United Nations on behalf of victims of sexual violence), Clooney looked polished, chic and timeless in two contrasting looks.

Yesterday, Clooney, 41, left the UN headquarters wearing a Balenciaga wool dress circa 1958, from William Vintage, as reported by Entertainment Tonight. The black dress, which was very Mad Men season one vibes, was fairly plain, save for some wooden buttons lining the front. She wore gray suede heels and a black tote to match.

And today, she was photographed leaving the UN while wearing an all-white ensemble by Zac Posen. She accessorized the structural jacket-dress combo with what appears to be the same pair of suede pumps, plus a neutral handbag and oversize sunglasses.

Last month, Clooney was appointed the head of a new global youth campaign for Prince’s Trust International by Prince Charles himself—so it's no surprise she's looking better-dressed than ever. We're just saying, you might see us in a few more black-and-white dresses this season.
