Alicia Keys Teamed Up with Her Son for an Impressive Duet at the iHeartRadio Music Awards

Sure, Taylor Swift’s speech at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards will go down as an all-time favorite, but Alicia Keys and her son, Egypt Dean, undoubtedly stole the show.

Last night, the music industry’s biggest stars gathered at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles for the sixth annual ceremony. During the show, the 38-year-old singer took the stage and gave a memorable performance of “Raise a Man” and “You Don’t Know My Name” with her 8-year-old son.

Keys kicked things off by singing the ballad solo. When she invited Egypt onstage, he ran up the stairs to show off his musical talents, wearing a sequined silver tracksuit. (Natch.)

At the end of the performance, the pair walked to the front of the stage, and Egypt took advantage of his 15 minutes of fame by flossing for the crowd.

“This is such a special night tonight, and we are blessed to share it with you,” Keys told the crowd.

In addition to her performance, the Grammys host also won the iHeartRadio Innovator Award.

“Thank you so much. What a powerful, beautiful energy that’s in here tonight!” she said in her speech. “I feel y’all. So many amazing artists here tonight.”

No, Keys. Thank you.
