Stanley Tucci’s Leftover Pasta Recipe Has Our Mouths Watering

Tucci gang, we have great news: The 62-year-old actor, cookbook author and cocktail aficionado has a new pasta recipe to share on Instagram (and we want to make it ASAP).

“[B]reakfast, brunch or lunch?,” he captioned the post. “Not sure but it was f’ing delicious.”

What is it, exactly? Tucci explains in the video that he combined leftover farfalle pasta (aka bowties) with sautéed garlic, onion, pancetta and peas, put everything in a baking dish with béchamel sauce, dotted it with butter and topped it with Parmesan cheese before baking it.

“It’s only 10 o’clock in the morning, and I think I’m going to have it right now,” he says before the clip ends.

While we’re not usually fans of farfalle (it never cooks evenly!), we could see how combining the cooked pasta with a creamy, cheesy sauce would vastly improve its flavor and texture. What we’re trying to say is, we’d try it…but we’d try anything Stanley Tucci makes.
