We’ve seen fruicuterie, chocolate charcuterie, pancake charcuterie and, most recently, jarcuterie. But now it seems like people are spicing up their classic charcuterie boards with the newest trend—salami roses. Yes, you read that correctly.

So, what is a salami rose? Exactly what it sounds like: slices of salami folded into the shape of roses. And they’re easier to make than you would think. Thanks to a TikTok tutorial video shared by Janelle Elise Flom (@janelleelise), we learned that the hack involves two easy steps. First, layer the meat slices over the rim of a champagne flute and then flip it onto the board. Voilá.

Watch the quick video below.

And it doesn’t have to be a champagne flute. As fellow TikTok user Chantel Mila pointed out, the hack can also be done using any wine glass. (She also creates adorable strawberry hearts to accent her boards). And we aren’t the only ones who are intrigued by the clever hack. One follower commented on the video, “That is stunning and the salami flower is so cool!' while another added, “This is such a simple idea and so easy to replicate.”

It’s too bad we didn’t know about this hack before Valentine's Day. And since we won’t be doing too much entertaining anytime soon, we’ll just have to make these roses for ourselves to enjoy.
