Great News: ‘Never Have I Ever’ Season 3 Finally Has a Premiere Date

Get ready Never Have I Ever fans, because season three has a summer release date.

The Netflix Instagram account posted first look photos from the upcoming season on Sunday, alongside the official release date (happy dance loading…). Yup, the third season of the popular Netflix series is set to premiere on August 12, 2022.

The exclusive photos feature the show’s stars, including Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Devi), Darren Barnet (Paxton), Jaren Lewison (Ben), Richa Moorjani (Kamala), Poorna Jagannathan (Nalini), Lee Rodriguez (Fabiola) and Ramona Young (Eleanor).

Never Have I Ever follows a young teenage girl named Devi. As a first-generation Indian American, she tries to navigate love, family and friendships, while also trying to be the “cool” kid in school.

Back in March, co-creator Mindy Kaling posted a special announcement regarding the new season on her Instagram page. “We’ve got some morning announcements for you: Season 3 of Never Have I Ever is gonna drop this summer! Plus we’ve just been renewed for a fourth and final season, which we are absolutely thrilled about,” the post read.

“We can’t wait to reveal all the steamy romance and hilarious adventures we have in store for you,” the message continued. “Thanks to all our fans for your support–especially the #Bevi and #Daxton stans. We love you!”
