Jennifer Aniston & Adam Sandler Are on the Case (Again) in First ‘Murder Mystery 2’ Trailer

Suitcase? Check. Plane ticket? Check. Married couple Audrey & Nick Spitz being tasked with solving yet another murder while on a relaxing getaway? Double check.

Netflix has finally released the first official trailer for the highly anticipated sequel, Murder Mystery 2, starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler. And, spoiler alert, it looks just as fun as the its predecessor.

The trailer starts with a stunning shot of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. Then, the camera cuts to people having a nice dinner in a restaurant, when suddenly a white RV comes crashing into the establishment. Right on cue, Audrey (Aniston) and her husband Nick (Sandler) emerge from the van with a one-word greeting: Bonjour.

In this sequel to the first Murder Mystery film (which was watched by a whopping 30.9 million accounts back in 2019), Audrey and Nick are trying to launch their own private eye agency after solving the mystery four years earlier. They receive a call from their friend Maharaja (Adeel Akhtar), who invites them to a wedding on his private island. But, things take a turn for the worse when the groom is kidnapped and everyone (including the Spitzes) becomes a suspect.
