Jennifer Lopez’s Golden Globes Glow Was Next Level—Here’s How to Recreate It

Jennifer Lopez’s skin always seems to glow, but her Golden Globes look this year was next level.

The 50-year-old Hustlers star hit the red carpet looking more radiant than ever, which naturally led us to wonder how exactly Jenny from the Block gets her skin to look oh-so-dewy. Lucky for us, her longtime makeup artist, Scott Barnes, joined us for a Celebeauty Sit-Down and spilled the beans about the products he used.

Barnes created Lopez’s glow using five key products. He played up her eyes with his Snatural Eyeshadow Palette ($84) and even used the Mango Fizz shade from his Chic Cheek Blush ($58) to elevate the gradient bronze shade. For her face, he picked up the Sculpting and Contour Palette ($58, but currently sold out). He used the Sliced shade on her eyebrows, Chiseled on her jaw and Sculped to exaggerate her cheekbones and thin her nose. He then offset the contour with his Glowy & Showy Highlighter Palette ($68), naturally.

Then, to set it all in place and ensure that her glow didn’t lead to shine while she posed for photos, Barnes dabbed on his HD Powder ($35) and finished her look with Body Bling body makeup ($42). The bronzing shimmer lotion is J.Lo’s go-to for shining bright like a diamond all-over and a great alternative to self-tanner if we do say so ourselves.

One thing’s for sure: While we may not be obsessed with her Valentino Couture present dress, J.Lo’s makeup was fire. Some things just never change, amirite?
