Tracee Ellis Ross Shares Throwback Modeling Video Where She Rocks Major Disco Vibes

Recently, Tracee Ellis Ross shared a video of her first major modeling gig, when she walked the runway hand-in-hand with her mom, Diana Ross. This opportunity arrived when Ross was only 18 years old, and she explained, “I desperately wanted to be a model. But, Super Model-dom was way out of my reach until my mother got a phone call from the incredible @manfredthierrymugler. My mother agreed to walk in the show as long as they allowed me to model in the show as well.”

And the rest was history.

Since then, the 49-year-old actress has become known for her starring roles on shows like Black-ish and Girlfriends, but she has also nabbed numerous magazine covers over the years, continually acting as our source of fashion inspiration.

Now, Ross has shared another one of her iconic behind-the-scenes videos from a modeling shoot. In this throwback, Ross serves serious disco vibes in a sequin-covered mini dress and black heels. She added a black-and-white filter to give the clip a vintage look, and wrote, “Ooh she was cute! 2019 was a fun year.”

The video was soundtracked with the song “Why Would I Stop?” by Big Sean. In the clip, Ross is sporting super long locks, which she plays with while posing for the camera.

Fellow celeb January Jones left a fire emoji in the comments, while fans showed their love for Ross. One user said, “She never misses,” while another added, “You look so beautiful.”

Only a couple weeks back, Ross shared a more recent behind-the-scenes vid from a shoot, and it's clear she hasn't lost her sense of fun on these sets. In the caption, Ross said, “Workin it… hard!”

We never get tired of these videos, Tracee.
