Tracee Ellis Ross’s Edgy Look Shows Us All How to Rock Distressed Jeans the 2022 Way

In the past few weeks, Tracee Ellis Ross's fashion has existed somewhere in the realm of business professional, with sharply tailored suits and bodycon dresses (always featuring, of course, Ross's signature touch of pizzazz).

However, she completely switched it up with her latest outfit, trading in the blazers for something more edgy. The Black-ish star showed off her ’fit in a new series of photos on Instagram, which she captioned, “HOT ONE. Tune in tomorrow at 11am ET/8am PT on @firstwefeast’s YouTube channel #hotones.”

Ross was a guest on the YouTube web series Hot Ones, where celebrities get interviewed while enjoying a platter of spicy wings. For her appearance on the show, the 49-year-old actress decided to sport a pair of wide-leg distressed jeans from Balenciaga, with what appears to be black leggings underneath (we will definitely be stealing this look for ourselves). She also sported a black tank, which was accessorized with gold jewelry.

Ross's outfit was styled by Karla Welch, while her makeup was done by Molly Greenwald. Welch commented on the actress's post, saying, “She understood the assignment,” along with a fire emoji. Other celebs showed their love for the outfit, like Rita Wilson, who wrote, “Love this look.” Vogue.com editor Chioma Nnadi commented a heart-eye emoji and said, “The jeans.”

A clip of Ross's appearance on Hot Ones was posted to production company First We Feast's Instagram account. In the video, the Girlfriends star reacts to the really spicy wings, jokingly asking her host, “What's your name? Who are you? Why are we here?!” The producers captioned the video, “Hosts when you pull up to the restaurant without reservations. @TraceeEllisRoss #HotOnes.”

You constantly inspire us with your fashion, Tracee.
