Celebrities have been riding the blunt bob wave lately, and we don’t see the hairstyle trend dying down any time soon. Mandy Moore, Kristen Bell and Chrissy Teigen have all made the chop—who’s next? Tracee Ellis Ross.
Just a day after her mother Diana Ross’s 75th birthday, the Black-ish star and director debuted a short new ’do on Instagram early this morning, and not to gush or anything…but we’re honestly at a loss for words. It’s that good.
The post shows Ross, 46, perched on a chair and checking her phone with a new blunt bob and bangs. She tagged celebrity hairstylist Larry Sims in the photo, so we can assume he’s responsible for the very 1970s lewk. (She’s also causally wearing the hell out of a bright coral feathered coat, matching lipstick and glittering ombré heels, but we digress.)
Ross posted no caption with the photo, because no words were needed. The comments range from fire emoji to sobbing emoji to “this isn’t fair Tracee—are you even mortal?!”
