Tracee Ellis Ross just reminded us she’s Hollywood royalty. The 48-year-old actress recently stepped out in a stunning blue dress while promoting Black-ish’s eighth and final season. Lucky for us, she shared the details of her ensemble on social media.
On Thursday, Ross paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live. However, before making her way to the set, she made time for a quick photo shoot and posted images in a slideshow on Instagram.
In the snaps, Ross sports a royal blue midi dress with a pair of yellow pumps. According to her IG tags, the dress is from Nina Ricci while the shoes are Louboutin. The actress topped off her look with a long ponytail and jewelry from Tiffany and Co.
“A burst of blue for my first time back in a late night tv show studio. See you tonight on @jimmykimmellive! #black-ish,” she captioned the IG post.
And we weren’t the only ones loving this color on her. One follower wrote in the comments section, “Blue [blue heart emoji] with a burst of sunshine ☀️ you are so fine and you never disappoint!! Your style is unmatched,” while a second fan added, “COME ON TRACEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! Currently googling yellow pumps.”
During her appearance, Ross told guest host Sean Hayes that she enjoys recreating throwback photos of her mom, Diana Ross.
“I kind of love doing it,” Ross said of a photo she recreated in July. “I had this necklace of hers and I think it was a necklace attached to a jumpsuit she wore in Mahogany, and I have always said, every time I see the picture, I'm like 'Oh my god I have that necklace!' I steal stuff from her.”
