Fans Think Taylor Swift Revealed the Name of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’s 3rd Child (and It’s Such a Throwback)

Taylor Swift fans are notorious for reading deep into everything the singer says, does or doesn't say or do. But their latest theory seems...pretty legit? Swifties think Tay revealed the name of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds's third daughter. What do they think it is? Betty.

The fourteenth track on Swift's brand-new album, Folklore, is called "Betty," and eagle-eared listeners are convinced it's a nod to Lively and Reynolds's daughter, who was born last October and whose name has never been released. The song itself is about a girl named Betty, and the only other two names mentioned in the song are Inez and James. Those are, of course, the names of Lively and Reynolds's 3- and 5-year-old daughters. If the speculation is right, we're kind of obsessed with the old-fashioned vibes Betty gives off.

In case you missed it, Folklore is Swift's eighth studio album, which she announced just a day before it dropped.

In an Instagram post, she wrote, “Most of the things I had planned this summer didn’t end up happening, but there is something I hadn’t planned on that DID happen. And that thing is my 8th studio album, folklore. Surprise. Tonight at midnight I’ll be releasing my entire brand new album of songs I’ve poured all of my whims, dreams, fears, and musings into. I wrote and recorded this music in isolation but got to collaborate with some musical heroes of mine. Before this year I probably would’ve overthought when to release this music at the ‘perfect’ time, but the times we’re living in keep reminding me that nothing is guaranteed. My gut is telling me that if you make something you love, you should just put it out into the world. That’s the side of uncertainty I can get on board with. Love you guys so much.”

Hey Blake and Ryan, blink twice if the Swifties are onto something.
