New ‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 Poster Features a First-Look at the Brand-New Monster

Season three of Stranger Things is only one month away, and Netflix is teasing us with a never-before-seen poster, filled with clues about the upcoming episodes.

The streaming service just debuted an all-new illustration for the show’s junior season. (And no, it’s not a recreation of the Avengers: Endgame movie poster.)

In the pic, you can’t miss Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), who’s standing front and center with her signature nosebleed in front of the sign for the new Starcourt Mall in Hawkins, Indiana. She’s accompanied by Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Steve (Joe Keery), Chief Jim Hopper (David Harbour), Joyce (Winona Ryder), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton) and Max (Sadie Sink).

Directly above the show’s logo, we get our first look at this season’s monster, and it bears a striking resemblance to the infamous Demogorgon. The poster also features several rats, which we saw in a previous teaser, so prepare for a whole bunch of creepy crawlies.

The third season of Stranger Things will take place in the summer of 1985. Since the kids are out of school and too cool for the arcade, they make the Starcourt Mall their new hangout spot. Of course, their friendships will be put to the test when raging hormones, romantic relationships and frenemies threaten to tear them apart.

According to Netflix, “Now they’ll have to band together to survive, and remember that friendship is always stronger than fear.”

Gulp. Season three of Stranger Things will hit Netflix on July 4.
