Sophie Turner Is the Reason the Jonas Brothers Reunited, According to Joe Jonas

We’d be lying if we said our heart didn’t skip a beat when the Jonas Brothers announced their reunion back in February. And it appears we have Sophie Turner to thank for the highly anticipated reunification.

Joe Jonas recently sat down for an interview with Harper’s Bazaar and revealed that his wife inspired him to reconnect with his brothers, Nick and Kevin.

“It encouraged me to see she had such a great relationship with her brothers,” he said, referring to Turner’s two siblings, Will and James. “That was really a big thing for me to be able to look at, and say, ‘I gotta get my shit together.’”

The Jonas Brothers disbanded in 2013, and contrary to popular belief, it wasn’t a mutual decision. Nick called it quits to focus on his solo career, which drove a wedge in the brothers’ close-knit relationship.

“Right after the band split up, I didn’t know if we would ever speak again,” Nick added.

The boy band further discussed the breakup in their new Amazon Prime documentary, Chasing Happiness. In the movie, Joe reveals that while they didn’t speak for a long time, they each needed to grow independently to get to where they are today.

“I think my proudest memory would be this past year,” he says. “Because this is the year that I have grown as a person and I’ve grown with my brothers. It’s been a long road. We’ve been through so much.”

Bless you, Sophie Turner.
