If you follow Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas on TikTok, then you know they've been building Lego sets like crazy during quarantine. In particular, there have been a ton of Harry Potter miniatures, like Hogwarts castle and the Hogwarts Express, but there's actually a super sweet reason behind their HP Lego craz. In an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Monday, April 26 (over video call, of course), Jonas revealed that Turner actually made him promise to watch all the Harry Potter films before she would even agree to date him.
Jonas explained, “Sophie, she said, ‘Look, if we're going to get married...’ It was actually, ‘If you're going to date me, you have to watch the Harry Potter movies.’” Obviously he held up his end of the deal (and ended up genuinely loving the films) so now he and Turner are reliving the magic of their early relationship by building mini Lego Harrys, Dumbledores and Voldemorts to accompany their already impressive collection of Stranger Things Legos and a mini brick Batmobile.
Of course, this wasn't just a one-way deal. Turner in turn promised to watch all of The Lord of the Rings films, which the couple have been binging during stay at home orders. Yes, they're while building Lego sets from that franchise as well.
In addition to Lego-ing up a storm, the couple has been finding other ways to pass the time. Turner recently gave Jonas a gorgeous makeover, while Jonas has been working on DJ sets, possibly in an effort to recreate that Las Vegas vibe for their first wedding anniversary on May 2. If the rumors are true, then the couple has also likely been spending time preparing for the arrival of their first child. Neither representatives of the duo nor Tuner and Jonas themselves have commented on the alleged pregnancy, but if true, the baby would likely be arriving sometime in late summer. Who knows, by then the couple could have build an entire nursery out of Legos.
