It may feel like summer is flying by, but we've still got a few weeks left before the fall season rolls around. And no one knows this better than Serena Williams, who decided to debut a brand-new haircut for the final days of the season.

Williams displayed her new ’do on Instagram, where she said, “You did not think I would let the summer pass without rocking some braids did you? @serena.”

In the pic, we can see that the tennis pro switched from the middle-parted curly tresses she's been rocking the past few weeks to a gorgeous set of long braids. While happily showing off her new hairstyle, Williams also donned the new Skyler dress in sunflower yellow from her S by Serena clothing line (which you can get here for $99).

Fellow celebs flooded the comments with their love for the new hairstyle, like beauty mogul Loren Ridinger, who said, “Oh yeah babe. Come thru. Love you.” Nicola Peltz added, “You’re STUNNING I love you!”

In a different photo that was posted to the official S by Serena Instagram account, we can see that part of the braids were also tied into a top knot on Williams's head. The caption read, “SHE’S INTERNATIONAL @serenawilliams in the Skyler Dress in Sunflower before speaking on the closing day of @xpinvestimentos in São Paulo, Brazil.”

It's about to be a busy time for Williams, who is set to compete in the 2022 US Open, which begins on August 29. Her older sister, Venus, is slated to play in the competition as well.

We can't wait to watch Serena play while showing off her new ’do.
