The ensemble, by Nicholas Ghesquière for Louis Vuitton, continues the matching separates trend from summer 2018, but gives it a fresh update with the maxi skirt and unexpected shiny fabric.
The "I Can't Get Enough" singer walked the famed Croissant Croisette red carpet in metallic silver heels that matched her giant belt buckle, and wore her hair pulled back in a sleek middle-parted bun. And how can we forget the massive Bulgari diamond necklace?! Her bright red lips and dramatic cat-eye eyeliner made the look all the more Hollywood glam on the steps of the Palais.
The motto for summer: No French fête? No problem. We'll take any excuse to wear matching maxi separates.
