This New Selena Gomez/Bill Murray/Adam Driver Zombie Movie Is Beyond Bonkers

And how could we forget a katana-swinging Tilda Swinton?!

Unless this is the most elaborate April Fools’ joke of all time, we are in for a gut-busting (get it?) treat with the new movie The Dead Don’t Die

Focus Features released a trailer for the movie, due out June 14, 2019, and the star-studded cast includes Bill Murray (Lost in Translation), Adam Driver (BlacKkKlansman), Tilda Swinton (Suspiria), Chloë Sevigny (The Dinner), Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), Danny Glover (Lethal Weapon) and Selena Gomez (Spring Breakers).

Written and directed by Jim Jarmusch (Paterson), the zombie apocalypse film is like Walking Dead meets National Lampoon…aka the box-office-beating summer movie that no one saw coming.

The film follows a bumbling bunch of police officers (Driver, Sevigny, Murray) who face off against a zombie infestation that threatens their small, peaceful town (which already plays host to its own peculiar characters, like Swinton’s makeup-brush-wielding mortician).

Caleb Landry Jones (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Rosie Perez (Pineapple Express), Iggy Pop (Suck), Sara Driver (When Pigs Fly), Austin Butler (The Carrie Diaries), RZA (American Gangster) and Tom Waits (The Ballad of Buster Scruggs) also star.

Our favorite part (besides Swinton’s spot-on Scottish accent)? The zombies seem drawn to what they used to do in their undead life. “Coffee,” Iggy Pop’s flesh-eating corpse groans, while Carol Kane’s rotting mouth calls for “Chardonnay!” as she meanders around the police station.

Same, Carol. Same.
