Sarah Michelle Gellar Debuts Stunning New Bob and Uses Mother Nature as Her Wind Machine on Instagram

It looks like Sarah Michelle Gellar is missing her iconic Buffy bob, because the 45-year-old actress just chopped off her locks and debuted a totally new 'do on Instagram.

The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star recently gave her hair a total revamp, and she's been using the weather to her benefit. She uploaded a video to Instagram, where she was seen standing outside and letting the breeze act as her wind machine. “Making Mother Nature work for me,” Gellar wrote in her caption.

In the clip, Gellar sports a white cropped tee from Hanes, gray plaid pants from Hellessy and a pair of olive-colored stilettos from Louboutin. However, we couldn't take our eyes off the star's wavy, shoulder-length locks.

The Scooby-Doo actress first showed off the cut last week, when she posted an up-close selfie to Instagram. In the pic, we got a good look at her icy 'do, courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Ryan Richman. In her caption, Gellar put an emoji of a woman getting her hair cut.

Fans loved the new look, and one user even quoted Buffy in the comments, writing, “Buffy your hair!!” Another replied with a quote from Nicholas Brendon's character, who tells another character about Buffy's haircut in season 6, and says, “Yeah, it's adorable apparently!”

Gellar also used her updated hairstyle to promote her new Paramount+ series, Wolf Pack. Soon after debuting the cut, Gellar made a different post to Instagram and wrote, “Now that I have your attention…. @wolfpackonpplus episode 5 is now available. DO NOT miss the last five minutes. Trust me.”

SMG, we are loving the new 'do (and we're loving your use of Mother Nature too).
