Now that Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland are finally engaged, we’re taking a moment to appreciate the 28-year-old actress’s brand-new diamond ring, which wasn’t designed by Neil Lane. (Gasp!)
That’s right, the Bachelor in Paradise bartender, 35, recently popped the question to his girlfriend of two years. In a bold move, Wells opted against Bachelor Nation’s unofficial “Neil Lane only” motto and went with a stunning oval-cut ring by Lorraine Schwartz.
Hyland posted a slideshow to Instagram, showing off several pics of the ring. According to Andrew Brown—the CEO of WP Diamonds—Adams didn’t hold back on choosing the accessory for his soon-to-be wife. “Sarah’s ring looks like a beautiful white five-carat oval cut that is most likely F or G color and VS clarity,” he told E! News.
The gem expert also estimated the ring’s price tag, adding, “On the simple thin band, from Lorraine Schwartz, this ring would probably run $175,000 to $200,000.”
Adams and Hyland started dating in 2017 when the BiP star slid into the actress’s DMs. (Seriously.) Since then, they haven’t been shy about documenting their whirlwind romance on social media.
Earlier today, the couple announced their engagement by sharing individual posts on their personal Instagram accounts. Wells kicked things off with an ugly-cry-worthy proposal video, featuring the moment he got down on one knee. Hyland followed up with the ring-flaunting slideshow above.
