Blake Lively Just Trolled Ryan Reynolds on Instagram…Again

From cropped photos to priceless commentary, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are practically the King and Queen of trolling each other on Instagram. But the 31-year-old actress’s latest stunt is bound to make Pokémon fans giggle.

It all started yesterday when the 42-year-old actor shared a teaser for the live-action movie Detective Pikachu, in which he voices the namesake character.

The clip features a behind-the-scenes look at the characters’ screen tests, set to the tune of Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.” While we can’t deny that Jigglypuff deserves an honorable mention for that hair, the real fun begins toward the end of the clip when Pikachu makes his comedic debut.

“So, let me get this right,” he tells Psyduck in the teaser. “We’re forced to listen to this spa music, so your head doesn’t explode and kill us all?”

Lively clearly enjoyed the teaser, considering she wasted no time sharing her thoughts in the comments section. “Is it wrong to say I’d tap that??” she wrote.

Of course, Reynolds didn’t let her get the final word and responded, “This is easily the best fan-fiction I’ve ever read.”

The actor captioned the post, “Footage from my ACTUAL audition for #DetectivePikachu.”

Detective Pikachu will be the first non-fully animated portrayal of the iconic characters since the franchise began more than 20 years ago. The story will revolve around Pikachu teaming up with Ash Ketchum to find his missing father.

In addition to Reynolds, the film also features the voices of Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton, Suki Waterhouse, Rob Delaney, Bill Nighy, Rita Ora, Ken Watanabe and Karan Soni.

Anyone agree with Lively (off the record)? Detective Pikachu is now playing in theaters.
