They’ve been faux fighting for years, but now, dear reader, rest easy because Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s feud is officially over…or is it?

After igniting the rivalry in 2015 and engaging in competitive tweets, conspiracy theories and a fake ugly sweater party, the 42-year-old Deadpool star and Jackman finally called it quits on their spat. They shared the news on Twitter last week and memorialized their new (or reinstated?) friendship with a bromantic black-and-white photo.

The 50-year-old Wolverine star was first to share the photo of himself and Reynolds holding hands in a buddy-buddy way. He captioned it, “Official truce! I’m going to make the most amazing ad for Aviation Gin. And, look forward to what @Vancityreynolds come up with in return.”

So what did Reynolds “come up with in return”? Well, he too promised to make a commercial for his pal’s brand, and it turned out really well.

Sadly, Jackman didn’t accept the truce judging from his colorful language and blasphemous wasting of gin.

You can’t always get what you want, Ryan Reynolds. But sometimes, you get what you need (optics on where your friendship with Hugh Jackman stands). Right, John Krasinski?
