Reese Witherspoon went to great lengths to ensure that Zoë Kravitz felt included in her Big Little Lies outing.
It all started today when the 43-year-old actress posted a slideshow of photos on her personal Instagram account. While the first image features a selfie of Witherspoon (Madeline), Laura Dern (Renata), Nicole Kidman (Celeste) and Shailene Woodley (Jane), the second pic shows the same snap…with a twist.
“Don’t worry @zoeisabellakravitz, I know you have #fomo so I put you in the photo… #BLL2,” Witherspoon wrote, referring to the photoshopped background of the second photo, which features Kravitz pouring a beer.
Back in August 2018, the cast finished filming the show’s second season. The sophomore run will feature a brand-new character, Mary Louise Wright (Meryl Streep), who arrives in Monterey to investigate the mysterious death of her son, Perry (Alexander Skarsgärd).
Although we won’t meet Mary Louise until BLL premieres in June, Woodley previously revealed that working with Streep is as fantastic as it sounds.
“It was exactly as you would imagine working with Meryl Streep to be; she’s a legend for a reason. The woman can act her face off,” she said. “She really is a master of her craft. That’s sort of a lost art in acting these days, so working with her was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do and showed me how to grow that skill set.”
If Kravitz is having FOMO, we can only imagine how Streep feels.
