For some people, old relationships can be very on-again, off-again. But for others, those former flames are better off left in the past. The topic of getting back together with exes was recently discussed on an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, and when the question was posed on Instagram, Gwyneth Paltrow and Reese Witherspoon gave their very candid (and hilarious) answers.
It all started with a clip that was shared to The Drew Barrymore Show's official Instagram account, where the titular host is seen discussing her former partners. “None of my exes are interested and there's nothing there,” Barrymore says in the video. “They're all like bird carcasses.” When co-host Ross Mathews started laughing, Barrymore said, “I'm telling you—all the relationships of my past...there's nothing left!”
Along with this clip, the caption posed a question for followers that said: “Would you ever get back together with an ex?” In the comments, Paltrow responded with an iconic answer, as she simply wrote, “I’m good.” Then, Witherspoon commented right underneath Paltrow and echoed her answer by putting an up arrow and a laughing emoji, writing, “This.”
