Yep, Pumpkin Pie Flavored Rice Krispies Treats Are a Thing Now

From cereal to cottage cheese (we wish we were kidding), pumpkin flavoring has infiltrated every category of food. So it's probably not all that surprising that our favorite childhood Kellogg's snack decided to join in on the craze.

Pumpkin pie-flavored Rice Krispies, which were first introduced in 2017, are returning to the aisles at select stores. Instagram blogger Eric Koenreich posted about finding the fall treat at his local supermarket and got a wave of pumpkin-loving foodies asking him where they can get their hands on a box. It's become a seasonal hit for the whole family, and although we never asked for this, we have to admit that we're not totally turned off.

Each box holds 14 treats and they're somehow only 90 calories per bar. There's no info on when they'll be in stores nationwide, but rest assured the limited-edition treat is going to be flying off the shelves way before fall hits.
