We Can’t ‘Let It Go’: Priyanka Chopra Is Set to Voice Elsa in ‘Frozen 2,’ the Hindi Version

Priyanka Chopra just landed a major role in Frozen 2, but (disclaimer!) it’s not what you think.

The Quantico star, 37, will voice Queen Elsa in the Hindi version of the highly anticipated sequel, and no, this is not a drill. Priyanka will star alongside her cousin, Indian actress Parineeti Chopra, who will play the character’s younger sister Anna.

Priyanka announced the exciting news on her personal Instagram account and wrote, “Mimi and Tisha are now Elsa and Anna! The #ChopraSisters are finally coming together for Disney’s Frozen 2. Can’t wait for you guys to see us… I mean HEAR us bring these amazing, strong characters to life in Hindi. #Frozen2 in theaters on 22nd November 2019.”

Disney Films India shared the same clip on its official Instagram account and welcomed the duo in the caption, writing, “Some moments are worth melting for! Welcoming the dynamic sisters @priyankachopra and @parineetichopra as the voices for Elsa and Anna in Hindi!”

It’s important to point out that Priyanka and Parineeti will voice the Hindi version of Frozen 2—not the U.S. one—so we’re not entirely sure if it will be available to international viewers.

In the new iteration of Frozen, the sisters will travel to the enchanted North to learn the extent of Elsa’s powers. The U.S. version will be voiced by Idina Menzel (Elsa), Kristen Bell (Anna), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff), Josh Gad (Olaf) and Santino Fontana (Hans).

If you need us, we’ll be looking into Hindi streaming options. (You know, just in case.)
