Princess Eugenie Shares Rare Throwback Photo

Princess Eugenie might be a talented equestrian, but that doesn’t mean she was initially drawn to the sport. In fact, the 29-year-old royal just shared a priceless throwback photo that proves she wasn’t always comfortable around horses.

Over the weekend, Princess Eugenie shared a never-before-seen photo on her personal Instagram account featuring her younger self riding a Shetland pony in a full-blown equestrian outfit. While she’s undeniably adorable, the real kicker is the expression on the royal’s face, which can only be described as sheer terror.

She captioned the post, “I guess someone wasn’t too happy that day to be riding…Maybe it was my ’90s oversized grown-up coat!”

Princess Eugenie has grown to love horses over the years. Not only did she compete in several equestrian shows, but she also regularly rides with her father, Prince Andrew, in addition to Queen Elizabeth.

This isn’t the first time the royal posted a childhood photo on Instagram. Last month, Princess Eugenie shared a slideshow of rare pics in honor of her mom Sarah Ferguson’s 60th birthday.
