Princess Charlotte Honored the Late Queen with a Very Special Accessory

As for why she always loved the sport, BBC Broadcaster Clare Balding reported that Her Majesty enjoyed being out of the spotlight. Per Hello magazine, she said, "The Queen's passions were horses and dogs. Racing was the passion she shared with the public."

She continued, "The Queen loved to go to the stables to see horses on gallops in the morning and talk to all the grooms. Racing was such a wonderful thing for her to be able to enjoy, she liked the attention to be on others and that was the case at the races."

Princess Charlotte isn't the only one who recently paid her respects to the queen with a meaningful accessory. In fact, the young royal took a page from her mom's style book, since Middleton also donned a special accessory while attending a service for the late monarch at Westminster Hall last week.

If you recall, the Princess of Wales stepped out in an all-black outfit and wore a diamond and pearl brooch that once belonged to the queen—one of many pieces that she has borrowed for royal events.
