Princess Beatrice's Husband Celebrated First Wedding Anniversary with a Rare Selfie

For many couples, quarantine put their relationships to the test when they were suddenly confined to their home for 24 hours a day. But while some partners found themselves arguing over small things like who got to hold the TV remote, this situation didn't seem to bother newlyweds Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

After the pair secretly got married at the Royal Chapel of All Saints last July, they've been in the honeymoon phase ever since.

Now, one year after their summertime wedding, Mozzi commemorated their first anniversary with a rare selfie on Instagram. In the pic, the duo are seen smiling in front of some picturesque mountains during what we assume was a romantic hike. Along with the intimate snap, Mozzi wrote a caption that said, “I can’t believe it has been 1 year. Every second of every day since has been so full of joy, happiness, laughter and love. You are the kindest, loveliest and most beautiful person in the world. Thank you my darling for every second.”

While Mozzi, a property developer, typically fills his Instagram with pics of aesthetically-pleasing home interiors, this is not the first time he has shared a loving message to his wife.

When the pair announced their engagement in September of 2019, Mozzi posted a series of intimate black-and-white photos along with a caption that said, “You will never be alone my love, my heart is your home. Hand in hand, today, tomorrow and forever.”

As one user put it: “Who says romance is dead!”

Congrats to the happy couple! Now we'll just be anxiously awaiting the arrival of their new baby.
