Prince Harry just revealed the secret to his and Meghan Markle’s emotional health. (And yes, it’s something you can do right this second.)

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently recorded their first joint podcast episode, which debuted on World Mental Health Day. The couple spoke with three founders of Teenage Therapy, discussing everything from their 1-year-old son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, to their new life in Montecito, California.

Markle even got candid about people who trolled her throughout her pregnancy. This prompted Prince Harry to share the “key” to coping with negative comments. “Meditation is key,” he said. “I never thought that I would be the person to do that.”

Prince Harry’s statement was in response to Markle’s confession about the impact trolls had on her emotional wellbeing.

“I’m told that in 2019 I was the most trolled person in the entire world—male or female,” she said. “Now for eight months of that, I wasn’t even visible. I was on maternity leave or with the baby, but what was able to be just manufactured and churned out, it’s almost unsurvivable. I don’t care if you are 15 or 25, if people are saying things about you that aren’t true, what that does to your mental and emotional health is damaging.”

We’d do anything to give Prince Harry and Markle a hug socially distanced elbow tap right about now.
