We’re actually not trying to come up with a bad joke. The couples were seated near each other during a private JPMorgan dinner at 1 Hotel in Miami on Thursday, People reports. Because if you’re snubbed for an Oscar, you might as well do the next best thing, which is rub elbows with royalty.
It was the first joint public appearance for Harry and Meghan since they announced they were stepping back from royal duties in January, and if this is any indication, it seems like they’re transitioning from royal life just fine. A source told Page Six, “Harry and Meghan got on really well with Jennifer and Alex, and spent some time chatting with them over dinner. J-Lo was overheard inviting the couple and their baby Archie to her and Alex’s house in Miami to spend time with them and their kids.” Huge if true. We can only imagine the rest of their small talk. Did they chat weather, stock market or their favorite cast member of Cheer?
The royal couple is expected to have one last hurrah in London to celebrate Commonwealth Day on March 9 at Westminster Abbey, at the request of the queen.
