Prince Harry Says He’s Spending ‘So Much’ Time with Archie, ‘Rolling Around in Hysterics’

Prince Harry is taking advantage of social distancing by spending as much time with his family as possible.

The Duke of Sussex, 35, recently opened up about his wife, Meghan Markle, and his son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, who are currently self-isolating with him at their new home in Los Angeles.

Prince Harry appeared in a video chat with parents who are currently caring for seriously ill children. The call comes courtesy of WellChild, a charity that the royal has been a patron of for years. During their conversation, he revealed that while he doesn’t enjoy being confined to his house, he’s looking for the silver lining.

“There’s a hell of a lot of positives that are happening at the same time and being able to have family time—so much family time—that you almost think, ‘Do I feel guilty for having so much family time?’” he said. “You’ve got to celebrate those moments where you are just on the floor rolling around in hysterics. Inevitably, half an hour later, maybe a day later, there’s going to be something that you have to deal with and there’s no way you can run away from it.”

The duke also applauded the parents for all they’re doing, saying, “Having one kid at 11 months old is enough!”

“The resilience and the strength that you guys have is absolutely incredible,” Prince Harry added. “You must never, ever, ever, ever forget that. Of course, there are going to be hard days—I can’t even begin to imagine how hard it is for you guys.”

Now, what does this “family time” entail? Asking for a friend, who is running out of ideas…
