Prince Harry Returns to London Court as Dad King Charles Attends Concert Across Town

King Charles has returned to London, just in time for Prince Harry’s court case.

Today, the Duke of Sussex, 38, continued his highly anticipated court case at London’s High Court of the Royal Courts of Justice. Prince Harry made history yesterday and today by testifying against the Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) for allegedly hacking his phone. He became the first royal to take the stand in 130 years, when King Edward VII served as a witness.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s dad, King Charles, has returned to London on the same day as the duke’s court case. The monarch, 74, was visiting Romania where he met with President Klaus Iohannis and received a special Guard of Honour performance at Cotroceni Palace. (FYI, the Guard of Honour is a ceremonial welcoming performed by a group of soldiers.) The President also hosted a reception in Union Hall to celebrate King Charles’s first visit to Romania in 25 years.

And when King Charles arrived back in London, he visited St James’s Roman Catholic Church to watch the all-new Wigmore Hall concert series. The performance featured four anthems by George Frideric Handel that were played at King Charles’s coronation back in May.

The royal family hasn’t announced whether King Charles will meet up with Prince Harry while he’s in London. Given the Duke of Sussex’s body language at the coronation, we wouldn’t be surprised if Prince Harry jumped on a plane immediately after the trial.

But, hey, we can dream.
