Kate Middleton Reveals Son George’s Christmas Work of Art—and It’s Pretty Great

It’s Christmas once again and the Prince and Princess of Wales are giving us royally-obsessed fans the present we want and deserve this year.

The official Instagram account of Prince William and Kate Middleton just unveiled a brand-new post featuring a piece of holiday art created by none other than Prince George (9). Oh, and it’s pretty darn good.

In what appears to be a watercolor painting, a reindeer smiles with snow on its nose and several red birds sitting on its antlers. One of the birds appears to be standing and perhaps even singing a song.

The caption to the post read, “Happy Christmas!” And it credited the nine-year-old: “[Painting palette emoji] by George.”

This has been quite the busy holiday season for the royal fam as they celebrate their first Christmas without Gan-Gan, Queen Elizabeth, who passed away earlier this year. Not only did the royals release several Christmas cards, but Sarah Ferguson showed off her Christmas tree, Princess Catherine helped organize a Christmas caroling service (which George and sister Princess Charlotte attended) and King Charles delivered his first-ever Christmas address. It’s a wonder the family found time for a holiday art project.

At least now we know what the Waleses hang on their refrigerator at the holidays. Well done, George. Well done.
