Prince Charles Posts Childhood Pic of Will & Harry and OMG Those Outfits

Prince Charles knew the importance of saving the environment from a very young age. And it's a lesson that he bestowed upon his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, in the early stages of their adulthood, according to a new social media post.

On Tuesday, the official Clarence House Instagram account shared a slideshow, featuring a throwback photograph of the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex, picking up trash (scroll to the fifth picture).

“During a BBC documentary to mark the Prince of Wales’s 70th birthday, The Duke of Cambridge said about his father: ‘He took us litter picking when we were younger, on holiday. We were in Norfolk on school holidays and we went out litter picking with him...We were there with our spikes stabbing the rubbish into black plastic bags,’” part of the caption read.

And while we love to see these three working together to save the environment, we couldn’t help but take note of their ensembles. And no, we’re not just talking about Charles’s bright green kilt.

William and Harry’s outfits are the epitome of ’90s fashion. First, there’s the khakis, pulled up high and tightly secured with a belt. Of course, the duo each paired the pants with a button-down shirt (peep the rolled-up sleeves). They also both topped off their look with a pair of brown loafers.

If we were going hiking to clean up trash, we would probably throw on sneakers and a T-shirt. However, we’re not surprised these royals opted to look their ('90s) best for the occasion.
