Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles Set Up Hidden Camera to Surprise Their Mailman

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles just shared a very special message for postal workers, including their mailman, “postman Neil.”

Over the weekend, Clarence House released a video of the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall surprising the mail carrier (it looks like a hidden camera situation) and gifting him with a letter addressed to “Everyone at Royal Mail.” In the note, the couple praised the 90,000 postal workers and commended their “dedication, resilience and hard work” during this difficult time.

According to the post, the letter was collected from the couple’s Birkhall home (where they are currently self-isolating) by postman Neil, who has been working at Royal Mail for 36 years and ensured the safe delivery of the correspondence to his colleagues.

“Today, as many people—ourselves included—are obliged to stay at home, Royal Mail plays an absolutely vital role in keeping family and friends in touch with one another. For that, we can only say how deeply grateful we are and send you our kindest wishes,” part of the note read.

The sweet message comes as citizens across the U.K. show their appreciation for their local postie (yes, that's really what they call them!) by taking part in the “Thumbs Up For Your Postie” campaign, where residents simply give the essential workers a thumbs up from a safe distance.

Keep up the great work, postman Neil.
