Wait, Was Peter Weber a Child Actor? Watch His Newly Resurfaced Commercial

If Peter Weber looks like a natural on The Bachelor, it’s probably because he’s no stranger to being in front of the camera. In fact, the 28-year-old dabbled in acting when he was a child, and there’s a video to prove it.

An old commercial for Sylvan Learning Center recently resurfaced online, and we immediately recognized Weber as the young lead. The ad debuted in 2005 and featured the pilot as a struggling student named Mark, who turned his grades around thanks to the academic service.

In the clip, Mark’s mom is minding her own business when a skateboard rolls into the kitchen. When she realizes it’s strategically carrying a report card, Mark (Weber) comes into the room to give her a sweet hug.

The student goes on to explain how tutoring helped him academically, saying, “School is tough. Then Sylvan helped me read better.”

The Sylvan commercial wasn’t Weber’s only acting gig. According to his IMDB page, he also appeared as young Roman Brady in a 2003 episode of Days of Our Lives.

The news comes shortly after episode three of The Bachelor premiered on ABC. The installment featured the contestants accusing Alayah of being “fake” and using her pageantry training to put on an act for the cameras.

If only Alayah knew she was dealing with a semi-famous child star.
