There’s no denying that we’re major fans of Cardi B and Penn Badgley. However, when we recently learned that the two celebs were big stans of one another, we were a bit surprised. And after their recent interactions on social media, we are just loving these new BFFs.
Last week, season three of Badgley’s popular series, You, was released on Netflix. This led one fan to share a vid of the actor’s previous press tour, where he discussed his appreciation for Cardi B and her authentic relationship with social media. “To me, it's this incredibly nuanced place to be, and despite what many might judge as antics, I feel she [Cardi B] has an incredibly authentic relationship to that, and I think that's why people like her so much," he said in the clip.
Naturally, it didn’t take long for the video to circulate onto the rapper’s own feed and based on her response, the feeling is mutual. “OOOOMMFFFGGGGGG HE KNOWS ME !!! OMMMGGGG!!!!!!Yoooo like I'm famous famous," she wrote in her own tweet. The 34-year-old actor was left speechless by Cardi’s response and could only write, “I—”
