Last night, the 31-year-old star was awarded the Golden Globe for Best Television Actress – Drama Series, thanks to her stirring performance in the final season of Pose. With her win, Rodriguez made history as the first openly trans actress to be awarded a Golden Globe and as the first trans actor in any category to snag a win.
The star, known for playing Blanca Rodriguez-Evangelista on the series, celebrated the moment on her Instagram account. She said, “OMG OMGGG!!!! @goldenglobes Wow!
