Meghan Markle isn’t a regular royal; she’s an approachable royal and there’s one key reason why.
Other than being generally pleasant by all accounts, the 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex employs a signature look to ensure she appears friendly and overjoyed to be meeting well-wishers at all times.
Markle calls upon this “surprise brows” look during most public engagements and the effect is joyful and bemused in a sort of “come talk to me” way. Today, for instance, the duchess raised her eyebrows in excitement, cracked a big smile and waved to on-lookers as she arrived at her new patronage, Mayhew animal welfare charity. Her expression exudes warmth and charm, and hey, no wonder she caught Prince Harry’s eye.
