Meghan Markle launched a mentorship program for women reentering the workforce in honor of her 40th birthday (classic Meghan). And in the video she shared to make the announcement, she gave us a glimpse inside her Montecito home.
On Wednesday, the Duchess of Sussex announced her latest project, 40x40, a global effort encouraging people around the world to commit to giving 40 minutes of their time to support women going back to work. For the program, Markle asked 40 activists, athletes, artists and world leaders to participate by contributing 40 minutes of mentorship to women reentering the workforce.
In celebration of the launch, the mother of two shared a video from a talk with actress Melissa McCarthy, who was one of the many individuals who gave their time to mentor a woman in their community.
In the clip, which was shot from the duchess’s home in Los Angeles, we see Markle sitting in her home office (which she perfectly matches in all neutrals) while video chatting with her pal and fellow actress. During the first few seconds, viewers get an up-close shot of the duchess’s desk, which features a handful of family photos.
