Here’s What Bachelor Matt James Is Looking for in a Future Wife, According to Tyler Cameron

Listen up, ladies. Matt James’s BFF, Tyler Cameron, is opening up about what the new Bachelor is looking for in a future wife.

During last night’s episode of The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons—Ever!, James made a surprise appearance alongside Cameron (who you probably remember from Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette). While discussing the upcoming season, Cameron shared insight into the type of women James typically goes for.

“I think what you’re going to look for is someone who kind of resembles his mother,” he said. “His mother is one of the sweetest ladies, very loving, caring, compassionate.” Sounds like a dream in-law. Where’s the catch?

Cameron also revealed that motivation is key, adding, “Matt’s gonna change the world, so [he needs] someone that’s ready to take on that challenge with him.”

We first learned about James’s season of The Bachelor earlier this month. Although the 28-year-old real estate broker was supposed to appear on Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette, it was postponed due to the coronavirus.

As the first Black Bachelor, James “couldn’t be more excited” to bring “diverse relationships” to ABC. “I’ve heard from a lot of my Black friends that aren’t Bachelor Nation faithful that are excited about me and honored by the position I’m in,” he said.

James’s season of The Bachelor is expected to premiere sometime in 2021. And yes, we’re already looking forward to meeting his mom during the family episode.
