Mark Consuelos Posts Gorgeous Portraits of Kelly Ripa for Her 50th Birthday

Mark Consuelos may not be able to spend Kelly Ripa’s birthday with her, but he’s making sure to send his wife tons of birthday love.

On Friday, Consuelos shared a sweet tribute to his wife on social media in honor of her big 5-0. The slideshow featured never-before-seen portraits of the Live with Kelly and Ryan star, posing in a white, floral gown on a bed of green grass. “Happy birthday to my little ray of sunshine. I love you, sexy..” Consuelos captioned the post alongside a sun emoji. (We wonder what daughter Lola thinks about that “sexy” comment).

Unfortunately, Consuelos is currently spending time in Vancouver to film his series, Riverdale, and was not able to come home and spend the milestone with the All My Children star. Of course, a sweet caption on Instagram wasn't the only way he celebrated his wife’s special day. During one segment on today’s episode of Live, the 49-year-old actor made a surprise virtual visit while the couple’s son Michael unexpectedly appeared on set to gift his mom a gorgeous bouquet of flowers. Ripa was overwhelmed with happiness, to say the least.
