Mandy Moore just shared a first look photo from her upcoming movie, Midway, and it’s a complete 180 from Rebecca Pearson.
Yesterday, the This Is Us star, 35, posted a picture on Instagram from the WWII film, which shows Ann (Moore) holding hands with her husband, Navy pilot Dick Best (Ed Skrein), through a chain-link fence.
She captioned the post, “A first look at the lovely @edskrein and yours truly in @midwaymovie, in theaters November 8th.”
Moore’s co-stars also posted photos on their personal Instagram accounts—like Nick Jonas, who introduced his character, Bruno Gaido.
“Introducing Bruno Gaido,” he wrote. “The official #MidwayMovie trailer drops tomorrow and hits theaters November 8th!”
Darren Criss (The Assassination of Gianni Versace) followed up with another movie still—but this time, it featured his character, Lieutenant Commander Eugene E. Lindsey.
“Lieutenant Commander Eugene E. Lindsey, at your service,” he captioned the post. “Go Navy and Go Blue.”
Midway follows the courageous U.S. soldiers and pilots during the Battle of Midway in June 1942. It shows how the four-day battle against the Japanese naval forces changed the course of World War II.
In addition to Moore, Jonas and Criss, the movie also stars Luke Evans, Woody Harrelson, Dennis Quaid, Patrick Wilson and Aaron Eckhart.
