Maisie Williams is ending summer with a new ’do. The Game of Thrones star is officially rocking a mullet.
On Monday, the 23-year-old actress visited London-based hair salon Bleach London for a cut and color. The salon shared two snaps of Williams rocking her new style on Instagram and captioned the post, “Mullet for My Valentine, Colour and cut for @maisie_williams by @freddie.yeah.” And it wasn’t long before Williams responded showing her love for her new hair writing, “Dreams rly do come true.”
The new look features choppy layers with a lighter shade of blonde. However, she opted to keep her dark brunette roots. Of course, what would a mullet be without some frilly bangs to go along with it? Overall, this edgy look is the ultimate end of summer vibe.
Mullets have been making a beauty comeback over the last few months, with a handful of celebs opting for the shorter look in quarantine, including Miley Cyrus. Back in May, the 27-year-old Cyrus debuted her new look (which seems to be a cross between a pixie and a mullet) in an Instagram Story. As it turns out, her mother, Tish, was the one who executed the hair cut with a little virtual help from celeb stylist, Sally Hershberger.
“I trained Tish well!;) @tishcyrus @mileycyrus #virtualhaircut lol,” Hershberger captioned a post debuting Miley’s surprising cut. Lucky for us, the entire process was actually recorded and shared on Vogue.
